If you enjoy playing saxophone, are preparing for state or college auditions, or looking to win solos in your band program, lessons will help you succeed in your goals! Dr. Harrison's lesson programs are designed to give you masterful command of the instrument, and help you on your journey to become an artist.
Why Study with Dr. Harrison?
Dr. Harrison is a critically-acclaimed saxophonist who tours throughout the country as a soloist with orchestras, chamber musician with Duo HaLo and TC4, and educator. He holds a doctorate degree from the USC Thornton School of Music and the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas, and has placed in numerous National Competitions. Many of Dr. Harrison's students have won national and international prizes, and have successfully been admitted to top music schools around the United States. Who is this for?
We have programs for beginner and advanced students of all ages. Our beginner program provides 30 minute lessons that follow their band teachers lesson plans, and our advanced students are provided tailored programs to fit their individual needs.
Are online lessons a viable option?
Yes they are! Since the pandemic, many video conferencing programs have invested into making online lessons much more successful. Our program uses Zoom, which has settings for "High Fidelity Music Mode." Once activated on your device, the sound quality is significantly increased. All you need is a stable internet connection and headphones. High Fidelity Music mode now works on Windows and Mac, along with Android and IOS devices.

Weekly 30 minute lessons (online or in person) - $50 per lesson
Weekly 30 minute Lesson Home Visit - $65 per lesson
Lesson a la carte (no fixed schedule) - $75 per lesson
Advanced Program
Weekly 60 minute lessons (online or in person) - $100 per lesson
Weekly 60 minute lesson Home Visit - $115 per lesson
Lesson a la carte (no fixed schedule) - $125 per lesson
Audition Coaching/Feedback
Send Dr. Harrison a video of your audition or performance and receive constructive feedback on your playing
Written and Video response - $75
Written Reponse with Online Lesson going over recording - $150
